Saturday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Garbage Program

For more information on the Residential Garbage Program, please contact Waste Management at (888) 960-0008.

The City of Litchfield does not have a hazardous waste dumpsite.

Accepted Items

  • Leaves
  • Grass Clippings
  • Brush
  • Trees
  • Dirt (Small amounts only, must be clean with no sod)

Unacceptable Items

The compost site does not accept concrete, steel, batteries, tires, any forms of plywood. Everything must be natural.

  • Wood chips
  • Compost dirt

There is no cost for dropping off or picking up any items.
